Who is EWA?
Our members are the heart of the association and therefore its most important component.
Each member contributes valuable knowledge, different experiences and unique perspectives that enrich our association. Although we have a board of directors, as is usual for associations, we value flat hierarchies and the right of all members to have a say in important matters. The involvement of all members, whether breeders, owners or interested parties, is particularly important to us.
In close cooperation with our members, the board of the EWA acts accordingly primarily as the organisational backbone of the association.
Our board consists of dedicated Wolfdog and Wolfalike owners and lovers who are committed to ethical breeding and keeping of Wolfdogs and Wolfalikes.
Each of them also brings unique experience and knowledge in different fields, resulting in a broad pool of knowledge from which everyone can benefit.
The EWA board places particular emphasis on transparency, teamwork and mutual support.
Accordingly, our board sees itself not only as a management body, but also as part of the community and is always open to exchange and comments.
To ensure that all content is always up-to-date with the latest scientific findings, continuous further training is of course part of our daily routine. This enables us to provide well-founded and up-to-date information and ensure the highest standards.
The Board
The board consists of the first and second chairmen and the treasurer.
The two chairmen ensure that everything runs smoothly by coordinating the association’s activities.
They enforce the resolutions of the general meeting and represent the association in legal and administrative matters.
The treasurer manages the association’s finances and, together with the correspondent, is responsible for the admission of new members.
